Council General Funds
The Council welcomes applications for grants from organisations and groups wishing to provide services or facilities in the Parish or for the benefit of residents. Where an applicant organisation operates outside the parish, the Council will require confirmation that any grant will be spent either on items to be used within the Parish, or to the benefit of Parishioners.
- Applications should be made by 30 November each year to be considered for funding in the next financial year. The next deadline is 30 November 2023 for grants in 2024/25.
- The Council allocates up to £21,000 in total with grants ranging from £50 to £5,000 in 2023/24.
- The Finance & Policy Committee is responsible for approving grants and in doing so, will consider the organisation constitution and latest accounts.
Community Infrastructure Funding (CIL) Neighbourhood Portion
The Council receives 15% of Community Infrastructure Levy collected by East Hampshire District Council from relevant developments in the Parish. This will rise to 25% once the Neighbourhood Development Plan (NDP) is in place.
Organisations are invited to apply for funding between 1 May – 30 June each year for grants over £1,000 with approval by Full Council in September.
If applicants would like any help in completing their CIL application form, they can contact the Executive Officer on 01428 722988.
